Vacancy: Migration Coordinator (MiCo) - Project "Digitally Together"

About the organizations:
The municipalities of Emmen, Borger Odoorn and Coevorden together form the partnership BOCE. In addition to these municipalities, various foundations and affiliated organizations, such as the Omgevingsdienst Drenthe, are associated with BOCE. The total of all the organizations together is called BOCE+.
The purpose of BOCE is to work together in the area of ICT (The A-Side) and to achieve benefits. This includes jointly designing, building and procuring ICT solutions to achieve procurement and management benefits.


Technical management and the service desk are housed by the Municipality of Emmen. BOCE is not a shared service center, but a partnership at the municipal level. About the project: The BOCE municipalities (Borger-Odoorn, Coevorden and Emmen) have commissioned the I&A department of Emmen Municipality to develop a new workplace. The project name of this workstation is called Together Digitally. It is the desire of the BOCE municipalities including affiliated organizations (also called BOCE+) to be offered a modern workplace in 2025 that provides access to various functionalities in a flexible, future-proof, market-based but also robust and secure manner.

Job Description:
Are you a driven professional with a passion for the modern workplace? Do you want to play a crucial role in successfully migrating users to a new digital workplace based on Windows 11 and M365? Then we are looking for you!
As Migration Coordinator (MiCo) within the "Together Digitally" project, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing laptop rollout & user migration. You will ensure that users are invited in time for the rollout, send t-minus communications and compile batches based on which users are invited.
You will work closely with the "Together Digital" adoption team to achieve your goals and maximize user information.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Compile batches of users invited for migration at specific times.
- Inviting users to migrate to the new workplace.
- Send t-minus communications to inform users of migration planning and steps.
- Make presentations to department managers to explain the migration process.
- Working closely with the "Together Digital" adoption team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Monitor migration progress and report to program manager.
- Act as point of contact for user questions and issues during migration.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient migration.

Job Requirements:
- HBO working and thinking level, preferably in a relevant field.
- Experience in project management and/or coordination of migration projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and solution-oriented attitude.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Affinity with digital transformation and IT projects.
- Deployment of 24 hours per week from May 1 to the end of the year.
