Role description and task arrangements

Profile sketch – Workplace Manager
Start as soon as possible - 3 months - 36 hours per week - secondment only 

We are looking for a workplace manager who can help us prepare, deliver, and manage the company laptops within a large migration project and who could also take on other workplace management tasks. This will mainly involve working with the warehouse, the migration coordinators, and the service desk.

What are the main activities?
  • Flushing laptops
    • Prepare laptops with a Windows 11 image, customize them for the appropriate customer organization, and prepare them for delivery, including accessories.
  • Delivery to end users
    • Setting up and delivering laptops to various customer organizations.
    • Assisting end users in getting started with the new laptop and explaining the new way of working.
    • Collecting old equipment.
  • Management & administration
    • Registering hardware in daily lists and in the CMDB.
    • Working based on supplied lists.
  • Quality & support
    • Ensuring standardization and consistency in the processes surrounding preparation and delivery.
    • Identify and report recurring problems.
Skills and competencies
  • Knowledge of laptop hardware and Windows 11
  • Ability to work accurately in imaging, asset management, and related administration
  • Transferring IT working methods and knowledge to people who are less digitally literate.
Desired knowledge and experience
  • Experience with workplace management or IT support.
  • Familiarity with Intune/Autopilot.
  • Experience with laptop hardware, Windows settings.
  • Has a good command of the Dutch language.
  • A driver's license is a plus.
