Will you help us position the Twente Work Center even more strongly in the Twente labor market region and give hands and feet to the Lifelong Development theme?
About us
The Ministry of SZW wants to realize improvements in the labor market infrastructure and services in the 35 labor market regions (of which Enschede is one). To this end, regional work centers will be set up where existing tasks will be placed (guiding job seekers without work) and from-work-to-work (vWnW) and lifelong development (LLO) will be given a boost. On January 1, 2026 these Work Centers will have a legal basis, but in the transitional year 2025 this will already begin to take shape in Twente.
In Twente, the existing assignments and functionalities of Werkplein Twente (Werkgeversservicepunt/WSP), Pluspunt Twente (RMT), the Leerwerkloket (LWL) and the Twents Fonds voor Vakmanschap (TFvV) will be merged under the name "Werkcentrum Twente.
The ultimate wish is to have 'work centers' for all residents of Twente, employed, job seekers and employers, where opportunities are created or problems are solved to make the labor market even better. A center that promotes Lifelong Development (LLO) and Sustainable Employability, that encourages inclusion and diversity, and that ensures that everyone from 'who am I, what do I want, what can I do' has a job where they want and can be meaningful.
What will you do
Advise and guide everyone free of charge and independently with career and training questions. Our starting point is to make it easy for people and organizations to find their way in the labor market. The Werkcentrum Twente is a collaboration between the Twente municipalities, UWV, educational parties and social partners.
The work
As a training and career advisor Work Center Twente you will conduct career interviews with employed people, job seekers and students. This takes place on location, by telephone and/or digitally. In such a way that every visitor to the Werkcentrum receives effective and customized (career) advice.

Have you
- Completed college degree
- Candidate has 5+ number of years of experience
- Relevant training in the field of coaching and training;
- extensive experience in consulting;
- Knowledge of the Dutch educational structure and affinity for education;
- Knowledge of the regional labor market in Twente;
- Affinity for ability/drive testing;
- a customer-oriented attitude;
- An independent and proactive work ethic;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- A results-oriented attitude and you are a strong networker and connector;
