Hands on Communication Advisor Expertise Network Youth Overijssel
We are looking for an experienced hands on communication advisor who has a strong affinity with youth and participation. You will build the visibility and accessibility of the Network of Excellence. Through your efforts, referrers, social workers, education, municipalities, as well as parents and youth know how to find us. We are there for young people and their families with complex and multiple requests for help. Together with the network, we ensure that no youth falls between the cracks.
With your broad experience in the communications profession, you see where opportunities exist, but also where sensitivities lie. You know what communication is needed for a good profile and positioning and easily take the lead in this. Others like to ask your advice and you are happy to implement it.
Description of the assignment
Communication is an important part of the Expertise Network Youth Overijssel: working together with municipalities, GIs and care providers requires active communication. As communication advisor you are responsible for implementing the communication strategy for the entire Expertise Network, the RETs and the five tasks. You guard the coherence of all communication activities. You also regularly coordinate with (communication) colleagues of collaborating parties. The work takes place at tactical and operational level. Therefore we are looking for someone who can advise as well as strong in execution.

The supra-regional Expertise Network Youth Overijssel is a network in the field of multiple and complex requests for help within youth care. It is a network of, with and for youth, parents, youth care professionals, municipalities and youth care organizations in the province of Overijssel. The Expertise Network is a task that has been assigned to Enschede city center.
The Expertise Network Youth Overijssel has several functions. We help families and young people with multiple and complex requests for help to find a solution. In addition, we work concretely (more policy related) on a number of development issues in the system, which have been around for years and which we can only solve together as a network. We also learn and improve together.
The supra-regional Network of Expertise, together with the network, has identified a number of important tasks for which real structural solutions are needed. These five tasks are:
To bring the developments on these tasks and networks in Overijssel to the attention of the network, we are looking for a hands on communication advisor.

- You will bring the website up to date and work with parents and youth in this. The communication must be clear and understandable for them
- Once every two months you will provide a richly filled newsletter. In these newsletters, we draw attention to projects that contribute to appropriate help for youth with complex and multiple help needs
- You organize meetings within the tasks or network-wide
- You take care of the LinkedIn page and highlight news here
- You discuss what they need in terms of communication to do their job well. This might include putting out a survey, creating a talking picture or recording a podcast, for example

Who are you?
First, we find it important that you have an affinity with the target group. - HBO working and thinking level
- Extensive experience (at least 4 years) as an executive communications consultant
- Knowledge of municipality, youth aid, education
- Knowledge of decision-making in networks, within healthcare and within municipalities
- Programmatic and project-based working
- You are organization-sensitive and move easily in a political-administrative environment
- Your writing is easy and clear
- You are creative and entrepreneurial
The Requirements
- Completed college education
- At least 4 years of work experience as a communications consultant
- 2 relevant references, containing the following information: referent's name, position, organization, email address and/or phone number.
- You have mastered the microsoft package
- You have experience with CMS systems
