As Advisor Waste and Raw Materials, you will be responsible for developing and implementing policies on waste management and raw materials. You will work closely with various departments within the municipality and external partners to achieve our sustainability goals.
You are a person who thrives in an environment where innovation and community involvement are key and want to put your shoulders to the wheel.
- You follow and analyze policy and policy effects in the field of waste and raw materials. You identify developments and know how to translate them into new policy proposals. You act as an advisor to management, boards and councils and give solicited and unsolicited advice.
- Writing college and council proposals in the area of Waste and Resources.
- To advise and inform the alderman on the input of the municipality of Losser in the region, and to represent the municipality in regional collaborations within your area(s) of responsibility.
- Contribute to the planning & control cycle of the municipality. To do so, you keep a close eye on finances.
- Do laws and regulations change? Then you are aware of this and initiate the necessary actions within the organization.
- In doing so, you seek cooperation with various contacts such as colleagues (in other policy fields), city council and citizens.
- You identify bottlenecks in the implementation of policy and contribute to improvements. You do this in cooperation with your colleagues within the Physical Space Management team.
- Important assignments you will be working on include drafting a resource vision for the municipality of Losser, and issuing a recommendation to arrive at a future-proof waste delivery point in the municipality of Losser.
