Role description and task arrangements
Housing policy officer
( 24-36 hours per week )Due to the ambitions of the municipality of Losser on the topic of housing, we are looking for a temporary advisor on the housing file. Together with the colleague policy advisor housing, the advisor will advise the college on various topic-related themes.
Job requirements
- At least 3 years of proven experience working in a policy advisory position in a municipality (hard requirement)
- At least 3 years of demonstrable consulting experience in the housing domain (hard requirement)
- Demonstrated policy experience in the topics listed below (additional point for each topic):
- housing programming
- Residential Deal
- housing and urgency ordinance
- flow
- self-housing obligation
- anti-speculation clause
- buyout protection
- new housing forms
- residential split
- affordability
- development of living and care combinations.
- Analytical
- Collaborative
- Communication skills (oral and written)
- Seeks connection between policy and implementation
Substantive tasks
- Advise on deployment of (legal) instruments of housing vision such as affordability, flow-through, compulsory self-housing, anti-speculation clause, buy-back protection, new forms of housing;
- Point of contact/advising teams and questions externally (answering questions and advising);
- Advise on housing corporation performance agreements;
- Advise on Public Housing Program to be prepared;
- Advise on housing programming;
- Advise on council motions topic of housing.
