Content process and administrative support. |
- Provides substantive administrative support to the Purchasing Team in performing the Purchasing function.
- Prepares (management) reports and overviews.
- Identifies bottlenecks and makes improvement proposals in relation to the administrative processes concerning the Purchasing function.
- In parts of the procurement process, support the Purchasing Advisor in monitoring the schedule.
- Supports members of the Purchasing Team in monitoring the process regarding the progress of decision making and its administrative processing.
- Carries out management and editing of (digital) procurement files, documents and systems.
- Administers, archives, mutates and accesses procurement data.

(Policy) consulting |
- Advises on aspects related to the conduct and disclosure of procurement records.
- Identifies, evaluates and develops methods, procedures and techniques.
- Reports on the implementation of policies regarding procurement administration.
- Advises and reports on optimization and adjustment of policies and implementation rules regarding procurement administration.

Management and implementation |
- Takes procurement related requests and applications and reviews, evaluates and distributes them according to policy and other internal agreements.
- Assists in prioritizing, granting and processing applications and requests.
- Provides process and administrative support for formal decision-making initiated by the procurement team and also substantive decision-making on topics within own area of expertise.
- Provides input for dispositions, (advisory), reports, reviews and correspondence using procurement records.
- Executes procedures, guidelines and regulations aimed at a lawful outcome of the procurement function.

Process monitoring and alignment |
- Initiates and conducts research in an area of own work and reports on implementation issues.
- Collects and manages data and records for administration.
- Monitors and reports on the various execution processes of the procurement function and related procedures.

Relationship Management |
- With colleagues in on developments in own and adjacent fields to exchange information and coordinate work.
- With members of the Purchasing organization on those aspects of the Purchasing function for which the assistant is responsible, including:
- sign and decision makers;
- project managers;
- members of the legal procurement team;
- department manager;
- market participants and other external (cooperation) partners.

Responsibilities |
- Is accountable to supervisor for the quality, progress and effectiveness of work (to be) performed.
- Is responsible for own part in procurement and or decision making process to the respective member of the Purchasing Team.
- Makes decisions when collecting and interpreting procurement data, on the content of their own proposals and when solving task-oriented sub-problems.

- Working and thinking level: MBO/ HBO.
- General theoretical, practical knowledge of the field.
- Understanding of the interaction and relationship between one's own field of work and the field of work and interests of other stakeholders.
- Improvisational, communication, organizational, prompting and/or advisory skills.
