Role description and task arrangements
On November 10, 2022, the Minister of I&W decided to start the MIRT exploration of the Old Line. Schiedam Center Station is one of the public transport hubs in this study, which is expected to last 2 years. Gemeente Schiedam is looking for experienced support of the general project manager for the implementation of the Schiedam sub-study in the MIRT exploration. Required competencies, knowledge and experience
Assignment:
The Project Manager is responsible for the integral management process of the exploration and associated projects. The focus is on the processes around risks, organization, scope, time (planning), information, quality and documentation in the MIRT exploration phase. The Project Manager makes analyses on the various project management aspects and the connection between them. The Project Manager is the sparring partner of the MIRT exploration process manager and the general project manager of the MIRT exploration Schiedam.

MIRT exploration project manager:
Required competencies, knowledge and experience
- Education level HBO/WO
- Structured work, proactive, keeping an overview and delivering what is promised
- Experience in project management
- Experience with an MIRT exploration is an advantage
- Experience with sustainable mobility and area development is a plus
Assignment:

Duties:
- Report on project progress to the general project manager;
- Identify and track changes and bottlenecks in scope and time focused on direction and accountability;
- Management of digital work environment where collaboration with externals can take place;
- Retrieve information from various disciplines within the projects and secure this information in the right place;
- Ensure overview and direct open actions;
- Prepare and update risk file;
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining schedule;
- Prepare meetings: maintain agenda, action list, etc.;
- Where appropriate, execute small tenders during the exploration: co-writing tender documents, responsible for planning, organizing sessions, note of information, TenderNed, reviewing submitted plans
