Health and Safety Service Various health and safety professionals (company doctors, psychologists, company social worker) work within the CFP Health and Safety Service. The Arbodienst is responsible for the implementation of curative and preventive occupational health care and is supported by the employees of the medical secretariat. The HR Vitality manager is the first point of contact for this group of specialists.

In addition to the Health & Safety professionals and administrative support within the Health & Safety service, the HR Vitality department employs case managers, mobility advisors, GVB health advisor and an A&O expert. Together they form the chain to support managers in the broad field of sustainable employability, absence management and reintegration. Together with the professionals of the occupational health and safety service, they play an important role in achieving optimal cooperation between all parties involved in absenteeism.

Duties company doctor Provides occupational health care, absence guidance and preventive interventions to employees, so that absence processes within GVB are more efficient and the quality of care provided to employees is optimal. Is responsible for providing optimal advice and guidance to promote the health, vitality and (sustainable) employability of the employees of GVB. Is responsible for the optimization of working conditions within GVB and the containment of absenteeism by realizing suitable functions and reintegration routes for people. Applies the steps to be taken by the Occupational Health and Safety Service within the Wet verbetering Poortwachter. Analyzes individual absenteeism situations, diagnoses the clinical picture, makes prognoses and advises on absenteeism, fitness for work and/or adapted work, including medication use. Consults and coordinates the approach with the company doctor, and possibly other practitioners or care providers in case of ambiguities and refers, if necessary, the person concerned to other internal or external specialists or experts. Ensures, where necessary, de-medicalization and coaches employees on their own responsibility and healthy behavior.

The Occupational Health and Safety Service is located on the Kromme Mijdrechtstraat. In addition, through your work you will also visit the various locations of GVB.
The following job requirements are at least relevant:

• BIG-registered as a company physician
• Exceptionally well-developed communication and coaching skills and experience in dealing with resistance
• Independent advisor to managers and employees in the areas of absenteeism, prevention and reintegration
• Solution-oriented
• Focused on results and synergy
• High-level knowledge of current laws and regulations (particularly in the area of the Gatekeeper Improvement Act, inspections (including the Local Railways Act, dirty soil/CBR REG2000).
• Preferably work experience within the public transportation industry
• Collaborative; including with multidisciplinary team (absence and reintegration consultant, occupational health coordinator, AD, Psychologists, BMW).
