To ensure all this runs smoothly, we are looking for an experienced and driven VDI Administrator who wants to contribute to a modern digital workplace (Follow You) for our healthcare professionals.
Your positionAs a VDI Administrator, you will be responsible for managing, optimizing and further developing our virtual desktop environment (VDI). You will ensure that doctors, nurses and other employees can work securely with patient data anytime and anywhere via our digital workstation.
Your duties include:- Manage, monitor, and optimize the VDI environment (Omnissa Horizon);
- Handle calls reports within TOPdesk.
- Implement updates, patches, and system changes;
- Collaborate with colleagues within the VDI team, security, and application management to ensure a stable and secure workplace;
- Collaborate on projects surrounding redesign of the Folllow you desktop.
- Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to innovations within the digital workplace.
You are an analytical, service-oriented professional with a passion for both technology and healthcare. You work in a structured way, communicate clearly and know how to set priorities in a dynamic environment.
Furthermore, you bring:
- A completed mbo or hbo education in the direction of ICT;
- At least 5 years of experience managing VDI / RDSH environments ((vmware) Omnissa Horizon);
- Experience within a healthcare environment is a plus;
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policies and (application) virtualization;
- Basic knowledge of networking, security and endpoint management;
