Job description: As Ansible Developer you are responsible for automating, managing and optimizing IT infrastructures using Ansible. You will work closely with DevOps teams and system administrators to develop efficient and scalable automation solutions. You will help design, implement and maintain configuration management and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles.
- Automate IT processes, such as deployment, configuration management and application deployment.
- Optimize and enhance existing Ansible scripts and infrastructure-as-code.
- Integrate Ansible with CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within automated environments.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineers, cloud specialists and software developers.
- Maintain and update documentation for automated processes.
- Ensure security and compliance in automated workflows.
Prerequisites:
- Demonstrated experience with Ansible, including writing playbooks and developing roles.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux systems and associated management.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Kubernetes and Nexus Repository is a plus.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Problem solving skills and a proactive work attitude.
- Good communication skills and team player mentality.
