Role description and task arrangements

Permanent : After 1 year deta a free transfer to permanent.
Start : A comprehensive screening will precede.

This is a Test Automation Engineer with proven experience in setting up and maintaining test automation within Java environments.

Core of the role
Test automation based on Gherkin, Cucumber and BDD. The team works DevOps, where testing is part of the development cycle. The focus is on regression testing, automating chain testing and testing microservices and REST APIs.

Expertise required
  • Gherkin: at least 4 years
  • Test automation in Java with Cucumber: at least 4 years
  • TDD and/or BDD mode of operation: at least 4 years
  • 4 years of experience with one or more testing tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or Robot Framework
  • REST API testing and development: at least 3 years
  • OAuth2: at least 2 years of experience in implementation or test
  • Jenkins pipelines: 3 years
  • Maven: 3 years
  • Git: 5 years
  • Scrum Master competency present within the team (3 years of experience).
Method and commitment
  • Location: Zwolle, approximately two days per week on location
  • Participation in incident management and picket shifts is negotiable
  • Collaboration within a multidisciplinary DevOps team
Practical
  • Start: March 1, 2026
  • Duration: 1 year, with option to extend
  • Language: Dutch
  • Requirement: Dutch passport

  • Rate indication: 75 to 85 euros, depending on seniority
  • Basic monthly salary: 4800
