Experience with Oracle Forms is a plus. Focus primarily on PL/SQL and Oracle Database knowledge.
In addition to higher vocational education (HBO) or university (WO) degrees, candidates with senior secondary vocational education (MBO) or a fixed-term contract are also welcome; preference is given to immediate permanent employment.

• This position involves maintaining an existing application to which new functionality is still regularly added. The core of the application is a relational Oracle Database. For the future, the use of big data techniques alongside the Oracle Database is being considered.
• The user interface is built with Oracle Forms, supplemented with open-source Java code. There are plans to replace (parts of) the existing user interface with newer, more future-proof technologies. No decisions have yet been made regarding the specific solution approach.
• A significant portion of the application’s functionality consists of Oracle PL/SQL procedures, which the employee will be responsible for maintaining.
• The employee also maintains the Java code for the user interface.
• In addition, it would be helpful if the employee could also perform (small-scale) maintenance on the Forms user interface, in consultation with an experienced colleague who carries out most of this maintenance.
• Part of this role consists of functional management and information analysis. The employee must be able to translate functional requirements into concrete specifications, in consultation with the functional manager.
