Location: Close to Winterswijk. The work can only be carried out on site. Working from home is not possible.
Working hours: 28 to 32 hours (candidate's choice)
Rate: max 80 euros.
Duration: until March 31, 2027, but may continue for years.

Screening: Start is after extensive screening of 3-4 months.

• This involves maintenance of an existing application, to which new functionality is regularly added. The core of the application is a relational Oracle Database. For the future, the use of big data techniques alongside the Oracle Database is being considered.
• The user interface is built with Oracle Forms, supplemented with open source Java code. There are plans to replace (parts of) the existing user interface with newer, more future-proof techniques. No decisions have yet been made regarding the solution direction.
• An important part of the application's functionality consists of Oracle PL/SQL procedures, which must be maintained by the employee.
• The employee also maintains the Java code of the user interface.
• In addition, it would be useful if the employee could also perform (small-scale) maintenance on the Forms user interface, in consultation with an experienced colleague who performs most of this maintenance.
• Part of this position consists of functional management and information analysis. The employee must be able to translate functional requirements into concrete specifications, in consultation with the functional manager.
