Civil Engineering Consultant
As a civil engineering consultant, you’ll serve as the go-to civil engineering expert on a wide range of projects and help create a future-proof living environment for residents and visitors to the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Together with colleagues from other disciplines, you’ll take an integrated approach to projects. In addition, you’ll lead various sector-specific management projects, such as road construction, assessing public access to roads, and drafting management plans. You have a good sense of political dynamics.

Specifically, you will have the following duties:

• Consulting intake and environment table
• Project consulting, review of preliminary and detailed designs, and project completion
• Point of contact for residents and interest groups with new initiatives
• Advising colleagues within department
• Ensuring proper information and communication
• Establish frameworks for facility and projects;
• Elaborate more complex questions from residents, administration and organization;
• Responsible for review and delivery of projects and revision data entry;
• Responsible for ensuring that projects are transferred and entered into the management system
• Initiates improvement proposals based on vision and policy irt practice
• Perform calculations to evaluate designs and, where necessary, prepare or review estimates.
• May replace administrator at tactical level
• Provides input on strategic policies
• Active contribution to cooperation with externals such as province, water boards and other organizations
