Civil engineering consultant
As civil engineering consultant you are the civil expert in a variety of projects and you contribute to a future-proof living environment for residents and visitors of the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug. Together with colleagues from other disciplines you will work on integrated projects. You are also the leader of various sectoral management projects such as the road layer, inventory of public roads, drawing up management plans. You have a good feeling for political relations and are easy with the pen and can easily write good college proposals and advice.

Specifically, you will have the following duties:

• Consulting intake and environment table
• Project consulting, review of preliminary and detailed designs, and project completion
• Point of contact for residents and interest groups with new initiatives
• Advising colleagues within department
• Ensuring proper information and communication
• Establish frameworks for facility and projects;
• Elaborate more complex questions from residents, administration and organization;
• Responsible for review and delivery of projects and revision data entry;
• Responsible for ensuring that projects are transferred and entered into the management system
• Initiates improvement proposals based on vision and policy irt practice
• Perform calculations to evaluate designs and, where necessary, prepare or review estimates.
• May replace administrator at tactical level
• Provides input on strategic policies
• Active contribution to cooperation with externals such as province, water boards and other organizations
