Role description and task arrangements

Duties of a green consultant:

  • Consulting intake and environment table
  • Consulting projects, reviewing VOs and Do's and delivery of projects
  • Point of contact for residents and interest groups with new initiatives
  • Review of permit applications
  • Advising colleagues in the landscaping department
  • Establish frameworks for facility and projects;
  • Elaborate more complex questions from residents, administration and organization;
  • May replace administrator at tactical level

  • You have a college-level education and way of thinking, demonstrated through a specialized degree program and relevant work experience in the field of landscaping;
  • Experience working in a municipality is preferred;
  • You have an interest in social challenges such as climate adaptation and the energy transition in public spaces;
  • You have a solid knowledge of plants and a passion for trees and ecology;
  • You work with precision and are able to make the right decisions within the policy and financial frameworks;
  • With your holistic perspective, you are able to come up with solutions on your own;
  • You are able to balance different interests and possess political sensitivity;
  • You are good at planning and organizing tasks.
