What is the purpose of the position?
You serve as the point of contact for residents, identify and anticipate unusual situations, respond to reports from residents, and maintain communication with various safety partners, such as the police, youth workers, and Public Order and Safety staff.
What are your duties?
As a BOA, you will handle a variety of tasks related to, among other things, the General Local Ordinance, youth nuisance, illegally parked cars, and the Waste Management Ordinance. Together with your colleague, you will also monitor and enforce the Liquor and Hospitality Act.
You will participate in various interdepartmental meetings and be responsible for documenting and reporting your findings.
What do we ask of you?
• You hold a valid BOA certificate;
• You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations;
• You have a Class B driver's license and a car;
• You have a good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written;
• You are flexible and willing to work outside of regular office hours.
