Role description and task arrangements
Cables and Pipelines Manager
Due to a temporary lack of capacity, the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug is looking for an experienced manager of cables and pipelines in public spaces. In its role as licensing authority, the municipality supervises the work on behalf of cables and pipelines in public space.
You will consult with the project leaders and managers within the department and with external partners, as well as contribute to the professionalization of the theme of Outdoor Space.
Job description
- As supervisor you are responsible for assessing specifications and drawings for completeness, feasibility and conditions. You then monitor these documents during execution.
- As management manager, you are responsible for the daily supervision of compliance with the permits we have issued to the network operators.
- Together with colleagues from mobility, you coordinate road closures.
- You manage the supervisor in a coaching manner.
- It is a part-time position so the expectation is four half-days of work per week.
- You represent the client with knowledge of the quality of the work delivered and the planning during execution.
- You are the chairman of the utility supervisor. You will chair utility meetings and be the first point of contact for utility parties and have a coordinating role between the parties involved.
- You will consult with the client on the progress of the work, potential deviations in time and money, quality and safety.
- You take care of the completion of the project in cooperation with the project leader, for the benefit of the delivery and transfer to management.
- Together with the supervisors, you are responsible for drawing up the process statements and the commissioning forms and final accounts.
- You carry out control activities with regard to calculations and drawings during the execution.
