The mobility consultant, what will you do?
The municipality is located in a beautiful, green environment in which the various village centers have their own identity and cultural-historical value. You work for one municipality, with 7 village centers! We have the ambition to realize a large number of (re)design projects in public space in the coming years, an example is the express bicycle route between Utrecht and Veenendaal.
This Mobility Advisor position is multi-faceted with a focus on operational responsibility. Your day may include both handling reports, attending residents' evenings and serving as an enquirer, hanging, reading and analyzing counters, assessing requests for charging stations and driveways. You are the link within the field of mobility and you will have the opportunity to develop across the board.
Someone who looks beyond the boundaries of his field and can make connections between processes and developments, who sees opportunities and challenges and translates them into practical applications, and who is constantly aware of his service task and behaves accordingly. - Handle application for charging poles and driveways in public space
- Exemptions for exceptional transport at RDW
- Handle and follow up on reports from residents.
- Conducting traffic measurements in-house
- Planning and deployment of speed displays
- First point of contact on traffic issues for residents
- Working together road authorities
You know what's going on outside. Together with your mobility colleagues, you can spar when you run into something.
