Role description and task arrangements

What will you do?
As project leader, you are the spider in the web to direct housing development plans from an idea to an Environmental Permit or an amendment to the Environmental Plan, among other things. You will engage with residents, developers and businesses about development. To have a good conversation with content, you use the dialogue tables such as: the Intake Table and Environment Table. You arrange participation, cost recovery and a lawful decision during the process. You focus on the municipal policy which means, among other things: accelerated housing construction for the target group, going green and sustainability. All this with a view to good service, which is designed in a "warm" and personal way

Team
You will be working for the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug, as part of the Environmental Requests team. This team consists of 25 colleagues divided into the following groups: project managers & project support staff, permit officers, business relationship managers, and administrative support staff.

What can you
For this position, we are looking for an employee with at least a completed HBO/WO education, preferably Spatial Planning and Engineering.
  • You have an affinity for project-based and process-oriented work.
  • You are a good interlocutor for the initiator, board and residents, someone who takes charge, works with all parties, advises and makes decisions.
  • You are results-oriented, a planner, organizer and can reach solutions with others with a "how to" attitude.
  • You are a networker, representative, a team player, have good communication skills with guts and empathy.
  • You steer for good service, short turnaround times and an integral and lawful decision.
  • You can handle conflict situations, but remain customer-oriented.
