You will be deployed to contribute to the optimization of financial administration and accountability. You will support the municipality in improving budget management, reporting and compliance with laws and regulations.
Purpose of the project
Your assignment is to support the municipality in optimizing financial processes, with specific focus on:
● Properly process and manage financial data.
● Contributing to budget, financial statements and management reports.
● Applying laws and regulations within financial administration.
● Monitoring and optimizing financial processes within municipal purchasing procedures.
Your duties and responsibilities
You will be actively involved in:
● Invoice management and general ledger control - Properly process, structure and control financial data.
● Financial analyses - Calculating policy changes and assessing the impact on the budget.
● Budget management and reporting - Support the budget cycle, financial statements and management reports.
● Application of laws and regulations - Ensure that financial obligations are properly processed and accounted for.
● Procurement processes - Assist in the financial monitoring and control of municipal procurement processes.
Intended results after 1 year
● Administrative understanding and compliance - You understand administrative processes and apply laws and regulations correctly.
● Active contribution to budget and accountability - You will make concrete contributions to the budget, financial statements and management reports.
● Improved financial control within procurement - You understand and apply financial procedures within municipal procurement processes.
● Strengthened financial accountability - You will contribute to clear reporting and accurate compliance with financial frameworks.
● Specialization within a financial task area - During the year, it is determined which specialty best suits you. You then develop further within this field through a roof-panel construction, where a senior guides you further.
Duration and evaluation
You will work on this assignment for one year, with interim evaluations to monitor your progress and results. Based on your experience and interest, we will consider an appropriate continuation within a specialist financial task area.

- You have a completed HBO education for example in the direction of Business Administration
- At least 2 years working experience in the field of procurement
