We are looking for an employee Grants

 

24 hours per week, from October 2025 through March 2026

 

The Utrechtse Heuvelrug municipality stands for accessibility and accessibility of care and support. Everyone gets what is needed and can of course participate. The social domain is constantly changing and requires an ongoing dialogue with each other and social partners. We have confidence in professionals and room for creativity and customization. We work with passion and enthusiasm for our residents, in collaboration with the Social Village Teams Foundation.

 

What will you do?

As a grants associate, you will work with policy colleagues to provide appropriate grants. You handle the grant application from start to finish. You are the service link between institutions or residents applying for subsidies and policy colleagues. This involves subsidies in the areas of culture, sports, meetings and early childhood education for institutions and residents of our municipality. You ensure administrative processing of the applications and that the correct process is followed.

In short, as a grants officer, you are an important link that makes great activities in our municipality possible.

  • You have an HBO work and thinking level;
  • You work independently, accurately and take responsibility for your work. You are results-oriented;
  • You think in solutions: how can you...
  • You have a customer-oriented and service-oriented attitude. You can put yourself in a resident's shoes and act accordingly;
  • You are objective and proactive;
  • You have good interpersonal skills and can work well together;
  • You have knowledge of grant processes, and municipal laws and regulations;
  • You have experience working in a case system.

 

Where will you work?

We work independently of time and place. It is therefore important that you have a workspace at home (or elsewhere).

 

Interview

An interview assesses whether the candidate meets the candidate profile and the minimum requirements set.

It also assesses which candidate is the best fit (competencies, fit with the organization, team, etc.). The interview is part of the assessment.

 

In carrying out its work, our municipality values five core values: service-oriented, environmentally sensitive, responsible, collaborative, reflective. This also applies to hired workers.
