Role description and task arrangements

Freelance work is not permitted. This is a regular position.

As Project Manager for the Public Housing Program, you will take on a substantively and strategically important assignment that brings together public housing, process management, and the integration of spatial and social policy. In this role, you will develop a public housing program that provides further direction for municipal housing policy. You will work on a broadly supported program that aligns with existing national and municipal policies, regional agreements, and current developments. In doing so, you will navigate seamlessly between content, organization, stakeholders, and administration. You will deliver a tangible result that will be ready for administrative approval by the summer of 2027 at the latest.


What do we expect from you?

Specific areas of responsibility for which you will be accountable—and for which we require relevant knowledge and experience—include:
  1. Develop the program's components and ensure a coherent and readable document for administrators and partners, including a DSO version.
  2. Organizing and overseeing the internal process and designing a participatory process with external stakeholders
  3. Ensuring a transparent process, including a schedule and progress monitoring
  4. Establishing links with relevant policy frameworks and initiatives, including the Environmental Vision, the Housing and Care Vision+ Addendum, the Equalization Fund, regional agreements under the Housing Deal, and ongoing housing construction projects
  5. Serve as a sounding board during the development of the public housing program, during which substantive decisions (at both the administrative and management levels) are made

  • At least a relevant and completed higher professional education degree
  • Knowledge and experience in the role of project manager
  • You take a holistic approach, quickly identify various interests, and translate them into concrete terms within the public housing program, in collaboration with colleagues and management.
  • Relevant knowledge and experience in public housing, the public housing program under the Environment Act, the environmental vision, the permitting process, and WMO policy.
  • You have at least 3 years of verifiable work experience in the past 5 years in the field of housing/public housing at the municipal level.
  • Experience with administrative processes and political-administrative sensitivity
  • You're a good and fluent writer
