Role description and task arrangements
Strategic policy advisor Integral Security
36 hours per week
I.v.m. replacement due to extended absence of an employee.
Once the employee returns and accrues hours, the number of hours on this assignment will be reduced. This will be by mutual agreement.
What are your duties?
Public Order & Security
- You manage the implementation of The Integral Security Program (ISP). You do this on the basis of the annual implementation plan .
- You identify and analyze bottlenecks and propose solutions. You follow developments, conduct research and make proposals for improvement and renewal of policy.
- You direct projects in the field of integral security. The emphasis here is on undermining, the connection between care and security and digital security.
- You will advise the portfolio holder in preparation for the meetings of General Board of the Safety Region Utrecht and the District Safety Board.
What do we ask of you?
- HBO/Academic working and thinking level preferably an HBO degree in Integral Security Studies or WO degree in Security Governance or Security, Law and Governance
- Political and administrative sensitivity
- Stress resistance and integrity
- Demonstrable relevant work experience within (local) government in the field of integral security and/or crisis management

Knowledge and experience
- More than 5 years of experience within a municipality
- Knowledge of and extensive experience in the work required
- Knowledge of and extensive experience in Public Order and Security and crisis management
