Purpose of the functionProvides comprehensive leadership to a team with predominantly policy development and coordination tasks and a long-term perspective with high political impact and considerable dynamism. Bears responsibility for the team's results.
Generic tasks1. Provides comprehensive leadership to a team with predominantly (policy) development and coordination tasks and a long-term perspective with high political impact and considerable dynamism, including responsibility for:
- directly managing employees;
- conducting interviews as part of the interview cycle
- making results-oriented agreements with employees
- planning and distributing work
- the quality, quantity, and timeliness of the products and services delivered;
- coaching and motivating employees
2. Taking responsibility for the team, including:
- focusing on processes and developments;
- achieving the objectives and targets set for the team;
- ensuring the creation of plans and management and accountability reports for the team;
- identifying developments and bottlenecks within the team;
- making suggestions for improvement to optimize the team's products and services;
3. Responsible for strategic policy development on complex and multidisciplinary issues, including:
- initiating policy and evaluating policy effects.
4. Advises and reports to management on the achievement of set goals, use of resources, and developments within the team.
5. Develops and maintains a network of relationships and ensures the coordination and monitoring of cross-team issues.
