About the assignment

The management of cables and utility lines in public spaces is becoming increasingly complex due to growing regulations and the involvement of various parties. We are therefore seeking a Cables and Utility Lines Inspector for the municipality of Utrechtse Heuvelrug to serve as a temporary replacement due to illness.

What will you do?

As a supervisor, you will oversee the implementation of projects within the municipality in close collaboration with the Cables and Pipelines Coordinator. You will ensure that the work is carried out correctly and to a high standard, while representing the interests of both the permitting authority and the municipality as the manager of public space.

You will oversee the implementation process, ensure that agreements are upheld, and keep the interests of all parties involved in mind. In doing so, you will serve as the point of contact and a liaison between various municipal departments, residents, and implementing parties.

In addition, you will provide advice on any deviations that arise during implementation and ensure that the work performed is carefully documented and reported.

Collaboration and Management

You will work under the supervision of the team leader and the Cables and Pipelines coordinator. Together with several colleagues, you will be responsible for overseeing the work. By sharing knowledge and experiences, you will support one another and collectively contribute to the successful execution of projects within the municipality.
