Role description and task arrangements
Senior OpenWave Administrator (16-24 hours).
OpenWave is one of the best developed VTH task systems on the market. With the advent of the new environmental law, new requirements and functionalities are not only just around the corner, but we within ODH are constantly working on improvements and requests from our business.We are looking for an experienced OpenWave administrator who can take the technical lead on our case system. As a senior administrator you will have a big say in how the case system is set up technically, you will do this as part of a small team of developers, whom you will manage technically.
You can talk to SQL at a high level. Complicated select statements you program in no time, and you are not only concerned with the output, but also with how fast that output is conjured up on the screen, performance is a thing!
You can talk with PostgreSQL and other SQL-based databases, and from your work experience you realize that sometimes small changes, can have major consequences for work processes. As technical lead you monitor the functionality of the Case System, and together with your counterpart in the business, help to translate the questions from business into technical solutions in the Case System.
Knowledge and Experience
- You have ample years of experience managing complex OpenWave setups at an Environmental Department.
- Advanced SQL statements are no trouble for you. 100 rows must be shown as columns? You know how to do that.
- You are familiar with the DSO and know how to create links for it.
- You have experience coordinating an OpenWave management team
- You advise on implementation issues regarding new regulations, laws or policies. (E.g. Environment Act)
- Templates, reports, configuration and customization within OpenWave are no challenge for you.
What do you bring?
- HBO+ working and thinking level
- Experience with PostgreSQL and implementing new software
- Knowledge and experience as an application administrator
- Experience in software testing
- Good command of the Dutch language both verbally and in writing.
Soft Skills:
- Great analytical and problem-solving thinking skills
- Experience in providing technical direction regarding new developments and solving technical problems within a case system
- Ambitious to achieve goals. Able to work on projects quickly and independently without losing your leadership mindset.
- Creative, innovative and helpful spirit
- Critical of your own work and solutions to be devised
- Be able to achieve quality results under work pressure
- Communicate with understanding of customer and user desire
- Supervise and inspire Junior/Medior Developers
