Due to illness of a colleague, we are temporarily looking for a colleague to drive regional cooperation and play an active role in existing regional connections.

In Region Midden-Holland, five municipalities are working together on various themes to realize their sustainable ambitions. From ODMH we support the municipalities in this. For example, from our regional role we contribute to the Regional Energy Strategy (RES) and are budget holder from the SpUK NPLW. We also provide regional guidance and cooperation in drawing up the heat programs, which must be established by the end of 2026 at the latest.
 

What will you do? 

• You will work for the ODMH as overall project leader for the RES. In this role you will participate in the RES core group with various other governments. You will also ensure broad internal coordination on strategic topics within the RES, and the progress of the ODMH's assignment.  

• You will act as regional coordinator of Heat for the NPLW and within the region. From this role, you will further shape the energy systems program line and, with a colleague, you will be responsible for the MIEK working group. 

• From within ODMH you are the lead party for the cooperation between several municipalities on the heat programs. In this role, you ensure that the municipalities are relieved of various concerns and, where necessary, you involve internal advisors within ODMH. You are also the point of contact for at least one of the participating municipalities.

• You will also be secretary of the Governance Consultation on Sustainability. In this role you will prepare the meetings with the chairman and ensure that possible actions are taken up. You will also organize the preparatory official meetings and participate in various meetings within the collaborative organization Regio Midden-Holland.
