What will you do?
With your extensive expertise and vast experience, you play a crucial role within ODMH. As an experienced environmental supervisor, you are the specialist in the field of supervision of the chemical industry, food industry and waste processing companies. You will have the opportunity to independently carry out enforcement projects, identify important developments in your field and actively contribute to quality projects. Furthermore, you will do the following:
- Supervise industrial plants and waste handlers, both physically and administratively.
- Independently perform enforcement processes and effectively interact with businesses, administrators and residents.
- Lead quality projects at the departmental level and in collaboration with other Environmental Services.
- Prepare clear notes and opinions with solution directions and consequences.
- Support colleagues on complex cases and implement new developments.
- Participating in our on-call service.
Who are you?
With your technical or environmental background and extensive experience as an environmental supervisor, you know exactly what to look out for at complex companies. You have a keen eye for business processes, see through technical data effortlessly and make well-considered decisions quickly. In addition, you have:
- A completed college degree in a technical or environmental field (or equivalent).
- Extensive experience in supervising heavier companies with complex environmental issues.
- A keen analytical ability to quickly grasp situations and make decisive decisions.
- The talent to respond to developments in the environment and consider interests of stakeholders.
- Creativity and persistence to solve enforcement issues, such as locating the cause of odor nuisance.
- Driving license B to operate flexibly in the work area.
