Role description and task arrangements

Are you someone who likes to keep track of things, think ahead, and organize everything down to the last detail? Do you thrive in a dynamic work environment where no two days are the same? And do you enjoy providing managers with the best possible support so they can focus on what really matters: providing excellent care for clients and a pleasant work environment for employees? If so, we’re looking for you to join us as an Executive Secretary at Advisium Zuid.

Where do you end up?

You’ll be working at the Advisium Zuid Center of Expertise, part of 's Heeren Loo. Here, experts from various disciplines dedicate themselves daily to supporting people with intellectual disabilities. We provide treatment to clients of all ages, both at our facilities and on an outpatient basis, as well as through our outpatient clinics. Your primary location will be Druten, but you’ll serve a region with locations in Druten, Tiel, Geldermalsen, and other areas. You’ll support the Advisium Zuid management team, which consists of one Advisium manager, two Treatment managers, and an operations manager. In addition, you’ll work closely with the administrative offices within the regions and be part of a dedicated and professional administrative team.

At Advisium, you’re not just working for any organization. With over 1,200 specialists, we are the largest center of expertise in disability care in the Netherlands. Together, we work to provide the best possible treatment, support, and quality of life for our clients.

How are you going to make a difference?

As an executive secretary, you are the connecting link behind the scenes. Thanks to your big-picture perspective, organizational skills, and proactive attitude, processes run smoothly, and managers and colleagues can count on you.

No two days are the same. One day you might be organizing a large event; the next, you might be keeping track of complex schedules or ensuring that important tasks are followed up on.

Your responsibilities will include, among other things:

  • Ensure efficient planning by managing complex schedules and monitoring priorities and deadlines.

  • Coordinating and preparing consultations, meetings, and project groups.

  • Handling administrative tasks and document management.

  • Supporting managers with a wide range of organizational issues.

  • Ordering materials.

You anticipate what's needed before anyone even asks and effortlessly juggle multiple tasks at once.

Your Role in Our Workplace

In this multifaceted role, you’ll bring calm, structure, and clarity to a dynamic work environment. You switch easily between different tasks, actively contribute ideas, and know exactly where your support makes a difference.

You work independently, but at the same time, you’re an important member of a close-knit team. Together, you provide professional support to the organization.

Who are you?

You are organized, flexible, and know how to set priorities. You have an uncanny sense of when action is needed and can keep a clear overview even during busy times.

In addition, you possess:

  • At a minimum, a completed MBO program in executive secretarial studies or a comparable field.

  • Experience in a similar support role or in project management.

  • Strong digital skills, including the ability to use MS Copilot.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in Dutch.

  • A professional and organization-sensitive attitude.

  • Integrity and diligence in handling confidential information.

What do we offer?

  • A temporary employment contract for 16 to 32 hours per week to cover a sick leave absence for a period of at least 3 months, with the possibility of permanent employment.
  • The option to work partially remotely.
  • Guidance and support from experienced colleagues and specialists.

  • At ’s Heeren Loo, your work is centered on the client’s care needs, while we work together to ensure that this aligns with your wishes and capabilities.
