Role description and task arrangements

(Interim) Healthcare Manager
As a healthcare manager at 's Heeren Loo, you are fully responsible for the quality of care at the locations for which you are responsible. Your contribution to recognizing, appreciating, and contributing to the development of employees is important. You constantly connect the needs of the workplace with the supporting services. Together with your teams and the management team of which you are a part, you work on future-proof care.
Disability care faces major challenges: changing client groups, increasing complexity of care needs, and a tight labor market. For the Gelderland Midden region, we are looking for an experienced care manager who can provide direction, bring innovation, and work with colleagues to build an agile organization.
Our organizational culture
At 's Heeren Loo, everything revolves around the client-relative-employee triangle. We believe in connection, results-oriented work, and the courage to invest in innovation. Our organization is based on three pillars: a good life for our clients, meaningful work for our employees, and a sustainable future for our healthcare services. These principles form the foundation of your leadership.
Central Gelderland: your working area
In the Gelderland-Midden region, we offer a wide range of care, guidance, and treatment to children, young people, adults, and elderly people with intellectual disabilities, almost always in combination with additional (complex) problems. The care varies from outpatient services, educational care arrangements, overnight care, and day care to intensive 24-hour care in the neighborhood, at the residential care park, and in family homes. Our locations are in urban areas such as Arnhem, Ede, and Veenendaal, as well as in wooded areas, including the De Hartenberg residential care park in Wekerom. The region is characterized by innovative care concepts, strong teamwork, multidisciplinary collaboration, and an entrepreneurial culture in which new ideas are encouraged and tried out.
As a manager, you will bring structure and improve quality.
You will manage multiple teams and assist in establishing and are fully responsible for the quality, continuity, and further development of care within your cluster. You will bring structure to processes that have stalled, set clear priorities, and ensure that work processes actually function. This means:
  • You identify bottlenecks in quality, organization, and finances and address them.
  • You coach employees with varying levels of experience and help them reach a higher level.
  • You will work with the regional management team on joint objectives and participate in regional and, where possible, national projects/knowledge networks.
  • You contribute ideas on how real estate contributes to appropriate care concepts, attractive work, and sustainable operation, in collaboration with real estate and facilities.
  • You are an important driving force behind developments in collaboration with relatives, volunteers, and employees.
  • You switch between strategic and operational interventions where necessary.

Who we are looking for
You are energetic and decisive, with vision, humor, and proven results. You have the drive to take teams and locations to the next level. You are reflective, dare to speak up, and have the courage to implement necessary interventions. You are analytically strong and financially savvy.
  • HBO working and thinking level with at least 5 years of managerial experience in healthcare
  • Pré in disability care
  • Ability to bring structure and turn bottlenecks into improvement plans
  • Inspiring leadership that gets your managers moving
  • You are available 32-36 hours per week.
