Role description and task arrangements

Those with jobs have more opportunities.
That is the belief and strength of the WerkCorporation.

The WerkCorporation in Emmeloord makes a case for everyone who can work. On behalf of the municipality of Noordoostpolder, the account managers guide job seekers to work, see if training is needed, visit employers, list the possibilities for the employer, make an effort to find a match and, if necessary, also guide candidates after the match. We do this with ten enthusiastic account managers. Will you supplement our team temporarily? We are looking for a:

Account manager status holders

As account manager for status holders you guide job seekers with social security benefits to an internship or work. Your caseload includes candidates who fall under the Civic Integration Act and who are integrating on the basis of the B1 and Z route. The goal is to make the candidates work-fit and guide them to work. It will be your job, together with colleagues from the WerkCorporation and the municipality, to ensure that someone achieves the necessary participation hours in order to be able to integrate.

You work closely with a work account manager - who looks for jobs and internships - and with two colleagues who - like you - stand for internal guidance. Together you ensure that candidates are given maximum opportunities to participate. Duties are not strictly separated: you also visit employers when it is useful for guiding the candidate on the shop floor.

It is a job with a multitude of contacts. With colleagues from the municipality and Refugee Council you coordinate at the case level and with the development company Concern for Work you work together on a suitable work-fit program. Where necessary, you visit the candidate at school.

You take care of the intake, you guide candidates to and at the Development Company Concern for Work and (subsequently) to an internship at a regular company. You maintain contact with the candidate in the workplace.

Who are you?
  • You have a completed college education;
  • You have at least two years of work experience in assisting status holders from a municipal organization or similar experience;
  • You are enthusiastic, connecting and commercial;
  • You are meticulous and record conversations and actions well;
  • You have a social heart and you get energy from assisting residents in finding sustainable employment. You are patient and careful.
About the Work Corporation
The WerkCorporation assists residents of Northeast Polder who are often dependent on benefits as a result of the Participation Act, residents who are registered in the target group register (and therefore fall under the Jobs Agreement), Ukrainians, status holders and young people. The employees of the WerkCorporation are partly seconded from the municipality of Noordoostpolder and partly from Concern for Work.
