Functional/Technical Integration Consultant

UMCU is looking for an experienced consultant (or consultants) with expertise in software integrations who can translate business requirements into functional and technical designs within complex IT environments.

Work

• The consultant is responsible for, among other things:
• Identifying and analyzing business requirements;
• Developing or contributing to functional designs, including business logic;
• Addressing integration issues between different systems;
• Preparation of architecture diagrams and solution overviews;
• Creating mappings for software integrations and data exchange;
• Identifying and defining acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders;
• Developing test scenarios and test cases;
• Evaluating technical designs for quality, completeness, and feasibility;
• Coordination with business, architecture, development, and testing teams;
• Supporting implementation and adoption processes.

Required knowledge and experience

Must-haves:

• Demonstrable knowledge of ERP environments;
• Experience with software integrations and system interfaces;
• Experience in creating functional designs;
• Understanding of business processes and business logic;
• Experience with integration mapping and data models;
• Experience with acceptance criteria and test preparation;
• Able to evaluate the technical content of designs;
• Strong communication skills;
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.

Pros:

• Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, or other major vendors;
• Familiarity with the TOGAF framework or ArchiMate architecture principles, or experience with enterprise architecture methodologies;
• Experience in complex enterprise environments.
