Surgical Assistant – Make a difference in the OR!

Summary
As a surgical assistant, you play a crucial role in the surgical process. You ensure that every procedure is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with the highest quality standards. You work closely with surgeons and other specialists and remain focused on the patient at all times—before, during, and after surgery.

What will you do?

  • Assisting with, preparing for, and circulating during both scheduled and emergency surgeries

  • Preparing and monitoring instruments, equipment, and sterility

  • Proactively anticipating during surgeries to ensure a smooth process

  • Supporting and reassuring patients and their loved ones

  • Performing medical procedures under the supervision of a specialist

  • Contributing ideas on improvements, innovation, and the quality of care

  • Supporting students and contributing to a safe learning environment

  • Team Yellow is looking for surgical assistants for the following specialties: Neurosurgery, ENT, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Spine Surgery.
  • Team Red is seeking surgical assistants for the following specialties: Cardiac Surgery and Vascular Surgery
  • Team Purple is seeking surgical assistants for the following specialties: General Surgery, Urology, Gynecology, Spine Surgery, Trauma Surgery, Orthopedics, and Plastic Surgery.
