Healthcare technology & ICT project officer - Obstetrics

Do you want to work at the intersection of healthcare, ICT and technology? Within the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital, we are looking for a project officer to coordinate (partial) projects around medical equipment, ICT systems and building preparation within the Obstetrics Department.

This is what you will do
As a project officer, you will coordinate a variety of technical and ICT-related (sub)projects in the Obstetrics Department.

You are responsible for:

- Tuning, testing and implementing ICT solutions (such as HIX, IQMessenger, ISP)

- The preparation and commissioning of medical equipment, including coordination with suppliers

- The technical preparation and supervision of construction and relocation projects

- Organizing instructions, documentation and training for users

- Identifying bottlenecks and contributing to sustainable process improvement

You will work independently within agreed frameworks, with close coordination with project leaders, care teams and support departments.

Here you will work
You will work at the Obstetrics Department of the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital (WKZ), part of the Woman and Baby Division of the UMC Utrecht. Here we offer specialized care to mother and child, in all phases of pregnancy and birth. The department is developing rapidly, focusing on innovative care technology, digital support and a modern working environment.

You will work with healthcare providers, ICT specialists and technical colleagues on projects that directly impact patient care. The position is temporary for 6 to 8 months, with an appointment of 16 to 20 hours per week.

This you take with you

- HBO work and thinking level, preferably in healthcare technology, technical business administration or project management

- Experience with project-based work in a healthcare environment

- Affinity with medical technology, ICT and/or construction processes

- Knowledge of HIX, IQMessenger and medical devices is a plus

- You work in a structured way, independently and know how to interact well with different disciplines
