Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar (ZHB) is a unique partnership of 8 public organizations, including the state, province of Zuid-Holland, municipalities, Port Authority and ProRail. Together, we are working to improve accessibility and quality of life in South Holland. Our organization is growing, developing and innovating - and we need your talent to do so. 

What will you do?
As a mobility advisor, you will be responsible for developing and implementing (municipal) measures that encourage employers and their employees to travel more sustainably and efficiently during renovation work around Leiden municipality. You work independently in your own area, Leiden Bio Science Park, and build a community here together with the stakeholders of the area. You will do this in close cooperation with the project leader of the A44 renovation project. You are part of the Mobility Management team and you work according to the standard ZHB methodology.


What do we expect from you?
  • You will identify and approach employers in the area around Plesman Avenue and inform them about the work and possible mobility solutions.
  • You convince employers in the region around Plesman Avenue to join the community through a letter of intent
  • You persuade employers in the region around Plesman Avenue to commission an analysis of the different commuting potential
  • You will develop concrete action perspectives for employers and translate them into actions aimed at sustainable behavior change among employees.
  • You will conduct discussions with companies about their employees' travel behavior and implement customized solutions.
  • You secure results and interventions in CRM or other record systems.
  • You will contribute to content quality assurance within projects.
  • You will provide input for reports, work plans and program documents.
  • You are proficient in the use of analysis tools and SaaS solutions related to traffic and mobility, e.g. MobilityAnalist.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You are and will stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations and trends and developments in sustainability and quality.

What do you bring?
  • Knowledge and experience in advising governments and companies to get started with mobility measures for their visitors (employees, students) and customers.
  • Knowledge and experience of working in an (urban) environment with various external stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with developments in the field, the market (supply and demand), and applicable regulations
  • Able to connect and create collaborations
  • Excellent communication skills, be proactive, content strong, analytical, results and action oriented.
  • Knowledge of mobility issues, market dynamics and regulations.
  • A proactive, results-oriented and analytical attitude.

Job Requirements
  • HBO or university work and thinking level
  • Minimum of five years of work experience in the field of mobility broker/director.
  • Conducted at least two reference projects aimed at influencing employee and employer behavior.
  • Knowledge of the area and of the municipality of Leiden.

Good to know
  • We expect a sharp cover letter in addition to your CV, telling us about your reference projects.
  • Network at collaborating partners of Leiden municipality is a plus.
  • You will work from your own office/workplace. ZHB has office location on Mondays in Leiden and on Wednesdays in Rotterdam.

The initial period involves commitment to this core project; possibly for the future you may be more broadly deployable.
