You will focus on logistics stakeholders such as carriers, shippers, and construction companies, helping them optimize their logistics processes. You will translate data and analyses into concrete measures and encourage behavioral change toward more efficient, cleaner, and smarter transportation. You will work within the Duurzaam Bereikbaar Midden-Holland regional initiative and serve as a connecting link between businesses, government agencies, and project partners. Who is ZHB? Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is a collaboration of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Department of Public Works, the Province of South Holland, the municipality of The Hague, the municipality of Rotterdam, Metropolitan Region of The Hague Rotterdam (MRDH), the Port of Rotterdam Authority and ProRail. Our main task is to improve accessibility in South Holland. To achieve this, we and our partners ensure that disruption during works is limited and we contribute to the sustainable mobility transition. We have about 100 people working at ZHB. That's a permanent base of about 30 employees and about 70 people in a flexible shell. What will you do? You will advise and guide logistics companies on how to make their logistics processes more sustainable and optimize them. You will conduct analyses and QuickScans, develop customized recommendations, and provide support during the implementation of measures. In addition, you will collaborate with partners within the regional program, monitor progress and outcomes, and contribute to knowledge sharing and the further development of the approach.
