Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar (ZHB) is working towards a future in which decisions about accessibility, nuisance reduction, and mobility are increasingly made on the basis of data. As a Data Analyst & Information Specialist, you will play a key role in translating complex data into clear and usable management information for project leaders, area managers, and policy advisors.

About Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar
Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is a collaboration of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, the Department of Public Works, the Province of South Holland, the municipality of The Hague, the municipality of Rotterdam, Metropolitan Region of The Hague Rotterdam (MRDH), the Port of Rotterdam Authority and ProRail.

Our main task is to improve accessibility in South Holland. To achieve this, we and our partners ensure that disruption during works is limited and we contribute to the sustainable mobility transition. We have about 100 people working at ZHB. That's a permanent base of about 30 employees and about 70 people in a flexible shell.

What will you do?
As a Data Analyst & Information Specialist, you analyze project, area, and mobility data and translate this into clear dashboards and reports in Power BI. You actively contribute ideas about definitions, calculation rules, and the logic behind the data, and help users understand and apply data in practice.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Analyzing project data, disruption plans, and mobility flows.
  • Contributing ideas about data models, calculation rules, and definitions.
  • Translating complex data into an understandable perspective for action.
  • Identifying and improving data quality.
  • Collaborating with data engineers and strategic advisors.

Job Requirements
  • Completed university education in a quantitative field.
  • At least 1 year of experience with data analysis within or for the government.
  • Experience with Python, SQL, and Power BI.
  • PL-300 certification or demonstrably equivalent level.
