| https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MV_E5g9HVSs Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is seeking a project manager for the A15 Medium-Term Approach (MTA A15). You will work at the intersection of project management, regional coordination, and collaboration among partners. You will ensure coherence among projects, monitor the progress of initiatives, and ensure that they contribute to the region’s overall goals. In this role, you will serve as a liaison between government agencies, implementing partners, and internal teams, ensuring that projects in the region are planned and executed effectively and in a coordinated manner. Who is ZHB? Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar (ZHB) is a partnership between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat, the Province of South Holland, the municipalities of The Hague and Rotterdam, the Metropolitan Region of The Hague Rotterdam (MRDH), the Port of Rotterdam Authority, and ProRail. It was recently decided that the Drechtsteden region will join the partnership this year. Our main task is to reduce nuisance, promote mobility transition, spread rush hour traffic, and avoid congestion through an area-based approach in South Holland. To achieve this, we work with our partners to ensure that nuisance during construction work is kept to a minimum and contribute to structural behavioral change and a sustainable mobility transition. Approximately 100 people work at ZHB. This consists of a permanent base of around 30 employees and around 70 people in a flexible shell. What is the MTA A15? The MTA A15 is a multi-year, area-specific accessibility project focused on and around the A15 Papendrecht-Gorinchem. The client is the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW), and the project partners include RWS, the Province of South Holland, as well as the municipalities and businesses in the area. The project’s objective is to achieve structural travel time reductions in this area by developing, implementing, and monitoring mobility measures. We do this by deploying a tailored package of mobility management, traffic management, and communication strategies. The MTA A15 transforms the temporary, project-specific accessibility measures (around major disruption projects) into a coherent, structural approach. What will you do? As a project manager within MTA-A15, you are responsible for coordinating and implementing projects and initiatives as part of the area-based approach. You ensure consistency across projects, monitor progress, and facilitate coordination among stakeholders. You combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach and are able to reconcile different interests within an administrative context. Municipalities, Rijkswaterstaat, safety regions, and other relevant parties. To this end, you will work closely with, among others, the ZHB Area Director for Drechtsteden and the ZHB project leaders responsible for accessibility initiatives, particularly those involving the Papendrecht Bridge, the North and Drecht Tunnels, the N214, and the A27.
