Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar (ZHB) is looking for a project manager who is eager to work on projects that make a visible difference for residents, businesses, and travelers. You’ll have the opportunity to independently lead ZHB projects throughout South Holland, with the Noordtunnel as your first assignment. The Noordtunnel Implementation Project is a challenging project in which, as project manager, you will be responsible for implementing the package of measures to minimize disruption during this bridge renovation. You will maintain an overview, foster connections between partners, and ensure that the work is carried out smoothly and in a coordinated manner by your project team. In this role, you will work closely with our client at Rijkswaterstaat. Upon completion of this project or when new assignments arise within the area-based approach, there is an opportunity to move on to other projects within ZHB.Who is ZHB?Zuid-Holland Bereikbaar is a partnership between the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management, Rijkswaterstaat, the Province of South Holland, the Municipality of The Hague, the Municipality of Rotterdam, the Metropolitan Region of The Hague-Rotterdam (MRDH), the Port of Rotterdam Authority, ProRail, and Drechtsteden. Our main task is to improve accessibility in South Holland. To achieve this, we and our partners ensure that disruption during works is limited and we contribute to the sustainable mobility transition. We have about 100 people working at ZHB. That's a permanent base of about 30 employees and about 70 people in a flexible shell. What will you do?You will independently take charge of implementing this area-specific project. You will maintain close contact with the municipalities and stakeholders in the region and ensure that the work contributes to ZHB’s broader objectives. You will serve as the connecting link between policy and implementation. With your big-picture perspective, strong communication skills, and solution-oriented approach, you will contribute to the success of the project and ZHB’s area-focused strategy. We look forward to seeing this reflected in your cover letter.Duties and responsibilities
