PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Create & ensure a safe & healthy, sustainable, attractive and inspirational work environment in our

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Offices strategy and policies
• Builds a long term vision and plan for the development of the offices in line with growth and
development strategy of the company (future-proof)
• Develops and maintains policies in relation to working at office, such as hybrid working,
parking, use of office facilities and equipment, etc.
• Creates an office environment as the place to be, the workplace motivates colleagues to meet
and collaborate in the offices on a regular basis
• Ensures legal requirements are met and pro-actively keep up to date with local legislation and
office development
Office culture/ way of working
• Actively monitors and steers on embedding the ACTION culture, brand and values in the office environment
• Develops and implements guidelines on ways of working at the office, such as guidelines on effective collaboration and meetings, guidelines for use of working spaces, meeting rooms, etc.
Offices lay-out, look and feel
• Cooperate closely with (internal) services providers, ensure the office environment is safe, healthy , attractive, sustainable and inspirational.
• Algin with IT department to ensure office equipment is installed and working in a timely manner.
• Align with marketing & communications on office communication/narrowcasting
• Responsible for office lay-out & design (workplaces, meeting rooms, focus rooms, call cabins,
pantries, etc.) and allocation of work space to departments.
• Monitors proactively and optimises office lay-out where needed and is constantly looking for improving the work place / office
• Proactively seeks feedback and is the go-to-person for feedback and requests from the business/office users concerning office lay out & functionality.
Office reception and facilities
• Is responsible for reception desk . Ensures all office visitors (colleagues, suppliers, etc.) feel welcome
• In close cooperation with (internal) services provider, ensure optimal offering (healthy & diverse offering) and service in company restaurant, in line with Action sustainability goals.

REQUIREMENTS – HARD SKILLS
• Undergraduate (Bachelor's) level position (preferably with a degree in the field of Facilities
Management);
• Experience: +10 years of allround experience in Facilities of which at least 3 years in retail
Preferably a hospitality background;
• Excellent command of Dutch and English languages, both verbal and written;
• Flexible and willingness to travel occasionally (national and international)
• Drivers license.

• Within the responsibilities of the position, actively investigates the needs and wishes of the
