organization The client is a leading player in the energy sector and is responsible for the development, construction, and maintenance of crucial energy infrastructure in the Netherlands. The Land & Legal Affairs department plays a key role in this: it secures all legal ownership and usage rights necessary for the expansion and management of the (underground) electricity network.

The department consists of various dispersed teams with a total of 73 legal and administrative professionals. Grond & Recht is currently undergoing a complex repositioning process within the broader organization. Under the leadership of an interim department manager, a comprehensive change program has been launched, focusing on chain cooperation, process optimization, and team development.

To implement and strengthen this process, we are immediately looking for a strong and experienced Interim Senior Project Manager who will act as the right hand, sparring partner, and extension of the Land & Law management team.

Profile Interim Senior Project Manager
You are an experienced senior project manager with a strong personality, excellent insight into change management, and the ability to connect at all levels. You move smoothly between strategy and implementation and feel comfortable in a role in which you work as an extension of the management team.

Preferably, you have experience in the energy sector or in large, complex (semi-)public organizations. You bring structure, focus, and progress to a dynamic environment and play a crucial role in driving the change program forward.

Together with the management team and a fellow project manager, you will work on process optimization, workflow management, forecasting, and making work in progress visible both within and outside the department.

Job Requirements

  • HBO+/WO working and thinking level.
  • At least 10 years of demonstrable experience with change processes in large, complex organizations.
  • Ability to provide functional leadership without a strong formal hierarchy; you work based on relationships, content, and trust.
  • Experience with process optimization, forecasting, workflow management, chain collaboration, and implementation issues.
  • Organizationally sensitive, strong communicator, and focused on collaboration.
  • Experience in the energy sector or with network operators is an advantage.
