PMO Lead (Senior Program PMO) – Fit4Future (Market Services)

Make decision-making simple, fast, and sharp in the midst of one of Alliander's largest business-driven change programs.

As PMO Lead (PMO++) within Fit4Future, you ensure that the right decisions are made in a timely manner and based on complete, unambiguous information. You direct the administrative rhythm, deliver steering group documents that can be used 1-on-1, and challenge content where necessary. You operate in a complex stakeholder field ranging from IT specialists to colleagues in operations and create support for choices that really matter in the energy transition.

Your impact in Fit4Future

Fit4Future renews and standardizes Alliander's IT foundation (ERP, Asset, Data, ISU, and IAM) to make processes future-proof, scalable, and more efficient. You ensure that Market Services can act in a business-driven and decisive manner.

What you will do

Steering group & decision-making

  • You plan and organize the administrative rhythms (steering group, management meetings, BO meetings), compile pre-reads/board packs, formulate decision proposals, and record actions, decisions, and risks in clear logs.
  • Deliver "ready-to-go" documents. You provide clear, consistent steering group documents (including KPIs, benefits, risks, and options) that can be used immediately in the meeting.
  • Challenge the content. You test the common thread across areas such as ERP/S4, S4U/phasing out ISU/CRM,
  • You challenge product and process owners where assumptions, dependencies, or quality need to be even sharper.

Integrated planning & risk management?

  • You maintain the integrated (milestone) plan, monitor the critical path across multiple workflows, and manage responsibilities and dependencies.
  • Building support. You connect stakeholders with conflicting interests, provide clear arguments, and explain choices, from management to operations.

Quality & standard

  • You use clear templates and definitions, monitor consistency in reports, and ensure that information is retrieved, validated, and published in a timely manner.
  • Communication & adoption. You help the line communicate decisions and impact and ensure that agreements are implemented in teams and planning.

What you bring

  • 5 years of experience as (Senior) PMO/Program PMO/PMO Lead in large, business-driven transformations.
  • Demonstrable experience with steering group preparation for senior management/executive board: decision/option memos, board packs, pre-reads, and sharp follow-up.
  • An expert at creating PowerPoint presentations that clarify complex issues in two slides.
  • Strong in stakeholder management within complex environments; you can bridge conflicting interests and reach supported decisions.
  • Substantive affinity with process and data issues; experience with ERP/SAP S/4 and/or platform replacements is a plus.
  • Experience with scaled agile/SAFe and classic program management (governance, benefits, risks).
  • Excellent writing skills in Dutch; you deliver concise, decision-ready documents.
  • Experience in the energy sector/network management is an advantage.

A day as PMO Lead

08:30 Start of the week with program manager/product manager: priorities, decisions that need to be made this week, data points that are still missing.

09:30 Coordination with workflow leads (ERP/S4, S4U, Data): status of milestones, dependencies, and risks; you refine the integrated plan.

11:00 You edit the steering group pre-read (KPIs, risks, options A/B/C, impact, and advice) and ensure that it is ready for one-on-one meetings.

1:00 p.m. Sessions with business owners and architecture to facilitate discussion on a proposed decision; you secure arguments and consequences.

3:00 p.m. You update RAID/benefits tracking, process actions, and distribute the administrative action list.

4:00 p.m. Brief check-in with communications/implementation to translate decisions into operational terms.

Why this is right for you

You appreciate clarity and momentum in complex changes. You combine administrative acumen with hands-on delivery, and you are energized by decision-making that is appropriate in terms of both content and timing.
