Intern Trainer – Contract
 
We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a ‘can do’ attitude and the desire to forge a career as a Trainer and Content Creator to join our team. As a Trainer Intern, you will be responsible for supporting our expert team of trainers and content creators by resolving and managing administrative activities that allow them to focus on enhancing their specialist deliverables.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our training team is supported with the necessary skills to make them as efficient as they can be. In doing this you will learn about training techniques, applications, training methods and approaches. You will learn about the insurance industry, business operations and all aspects of risk management within one of the world’s largest insurance brokers. What the day will look like.
 
Reporting to the Training and Testing Lead, you will be responsible for:
 
  • Supporting the Training specialists and Content Creators to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs by identifying, owning, and resolving administrative tasks that help them to be more efficient.
  • Supporting multimedia training material developers in producing video content, helping them generate ideas, reviewing output as an objective viewer, and gathering data and content under their direction.
  • Supporting the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars to colleagues by helping with the logistics to set up and run the various training channels – online, webinars, classroom sessions, etc.
  • Learn how to and help to conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps to allow us to develop appropriate training solutions.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by helping to analyze training assessments, feedback, and performance metrics and generate new insights and conclusions based on the data you receive.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather training content and materials in support of the content creators.
  • Learn how to maintain the Program Induction and Training websites to ensure they are current, relevant, and valuable to new and existing program colleagues.
  • As your knowledge grows, you will produce training materials, documentation, and videos yourself.
  • Review existing training materials to identify changes required as a result of new application changes and new release deployments.
  • Learn all aspects of the training team roles to enrich your knowledge and experience of Training as a career so you develop and grow to become an expert Trainer/Content Creator yourself.
