Trainer Intern – Contract
We are seeking an enthusiastic person with a ‘can do’ attitude and the desire to forge a career as a Trainer and Content Creator to join our team. As a Trainer Intern, you will be responsible for supporting our expert team of trainers and content creators by resolving and managing administrative activities that allow them to focus on enhancing their specialist deliverables.
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our training team is supported with the necessary skills to make them as efficient as they can be. In doing this you will learn about training techniques, applications, training methods and approaches. You will learn about the insurance industry, business operations and all aspects of risk management within one of the world’s largest insurance brokers. This role is perfect for someone looking for a career as a Trainer whether it’s your first job or you are looking for a career change, we want you to grow with our team, our program and with Aon.

What the day will look like.
Reporting to the Training and Testing Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Training specialists and Content Creators to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs by identifying, owning and resolving administrative tasks that help them to be more efficient.
- Supporting multi-media training material developers to produce video content, helping them generate ideas, reviewing output as an objective viewer and gathering data and content under their direction.
- Supporting the delivery of training sessions, workshops, and seminars to colleagues by helping with the logistics to set up and run the various training channels – online, webinars, classroom sessions etc.
- Learn how to and help to conduct training needs assessments to identify skill gaps to allow us to develop appropriate training solutions.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs by helping to analyse training assessments, feedback, and performance metrics and generate new insights and conclusions based on the data you receive.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to gather training content and materials in support of the content creators.
- Learn how to maintain the Programme Induction and Training websites to ensure they are current, relevant, and valuable to new and existing programme colleagues.
- As your knowledge grows you will produce training materials, documentation and videos yourself.
- Review existing training materials to identify changes required as a result of new application changes and new release deployments.
- Learn all aspects of the training team roles to enrich your knowledge and experience of Training as a career so you develop and grow to become an expert Trainer/Content Creator yourself.
- Positive attitude and a desire to learn, consume knowledge and grow personally
- Interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and trust
- Flexibility to work with diverse teams from different countries and cultures.
- Curiosity to question and challenge constructively, to improve understanding
- Self-motivated and able to deliver to time, quality and expectations
- Open minded and comfortable working where structure may not exist
- Organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Fluent English. Additional language skills in French, German, Dutch or Spanish will be an advantage.
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage others.
