Role description and task arrangements

Due to a temporary capacity need, the municipality of Haaksbergen is looking for a medior procurement advisor who will take on both procurement supervision and a number of procurement advisory issues at the municipality.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Provide procurement advice.
    You advise on careful, lawful and efficient implementation of procurement, taking into account the objectives of the municipality and relevant laws, regulations and internal procedures.
  2. Answering procurement questions: You answer questions from the organization about procedures, procurement processes, contract management and ongoing processes;
  3. Supervising tenders (multiple negotiated, national, European)
    You supervise the entire processes, from market research, procurement strategy to the drafting of an award guideline, note of information, assessment, award and contracting. In this you are the link between the market parties and the internal organization.
  4. Process optimization:
    You are alert to improvements in the procurement process that can increase quality and reduce lead times.
  5. Twente procurement partnership
    There is intensive Twente cooperation in the field of procurement and contract management. You make an active contribution to this cooperation where relevant.
