Data team coordinator - scrum
A temporary assignment has arisen within the Information & IT Department for a Data Team Coordinator. The core data team is a scrum team that develops data solutions for the entire organization; both dashboards, reports and GIS viewers. These solutions contribute to a more data savvy organization and decision-making based on data insights. For the data team, you are the first point of contact.
As Data Team Coordinator, you perform the role of Product Owner where you analyze the demand from the organization and translate it, according to a predetermined format, into an assignment description. With this mission statement, the development team can get to work developing a data solution.
In addition, you also take on the role of scrum master. In this role, you own the scrum process and ensure that the team can function properly and any roadblocks are removed.
Your duties include:
In addition to the Core Data Team (5 data engineers), you also work with various colleagues from the business. These are team and or department managers as clients or policy staff and consultants as end users. You also work a lot together with colleagues from various departments with knowledge of data and processes and (technical) application managers with knowledge of the systems. Both may be part of the development team to work on a data project.
We are looking for someone with experience who not only manages the process, but also advises the organization on opportunities with data. You want responsibility and naturally pick up direction. You are self-reliant and proactive. You know how to unite interests to achieve results. You are someone who finds it important to deliver quality, you work carefully and are structured. You go for the best fitting solution and know how to hook up the right people. You are sociable and enjoy sparring and cooperating with others.

- Maintaining relationships with externals and partnerships (Such as the accountership of Kennispunt Twente)
