Project leader implementation of Quality Management System (KMS as part of the Integrated Management System (IMS). 

The tender for an Integral Management System (IMS) has taken place, where it was decided to focus on the Quality Management System (KMS) and its implementation for the time being. Your assignment consists of 2 parts: 

1. As project leader you will, in collaboration with stakeholders in the organization and supplier, take care of the implementation of the KMS (as part of the IMS). You will be expected to prepare the KMS implementation plan and prepare, supervise, execute and evaluate the implementation.  

2. Make a look to the future regarding further implementation of the IMS. You will map out the necessary follow-up steps including the impact of the follow-up steps to ensure sustainable securing of the IMS within SamenTwente. This involves looking at policy, process and application, as well as the behavioral and cultural aspects of the organization.   

Preparation and planning 

You get to work drafting an implementation and communication plan, based on that agreed with the supplier. This plan includes a clear approach and strategy and a risk analysis, timelines, and an overview of the necessary people and resources. You ensure that all stakeholders are well informed about their roles and responsibilities within the project. You put together a project team. You recognize potential problems and devise solutions to prevent them.  

Implementation and guidance 

During the implementation phase, you will lead the project team, consisting of internal and external members, in the implementation of the KMS. You monitor progress and ensure that the project stays within set timelines and budgets. You guide the organization through the transition to the new system, providing support to ensure a smooth implementation. You maintain structural contact with the supplier. 

Evaluation and optimization 

At mid-term and after implementation, you evaluate the effectiveness of the new KMS. You find any areas for improvement and implement optimizations where necessary. You also report the results to management so that they are aware of the progress and the results achieved.
