Role description and task arrangements


We are looking for a:
Employee telephony (front office) at the Customer Contact Center

Is service in your blood? Do you enjoy working in a hectic environment and can you keep a cool head while switching between changing circumstances? Are you committed, responsible and solution-oriented? Then we are looking for you!

About the position
As an employee telephony you are the first point of contact for the municipality. All incoming calls are registered in the Employee Portal and you answer the question immediately. Is that not possible? Then you connect the customer - where possible - 'warmly' so that the colleague knows what the customer is calling about. If the colleague cannot be reached, you will leave a clear call-back request in the Employee Portal.

What do you bring
You are an energetic, representative personality who serves without losing control. You are good at asking questions so that you know what the customer is calling about, or who they need so that you can refer them directly to the right person and record the question properly. You are someone who keeps an overview and does not get stressed when things suddenly get very busy. You are professional, can deal well with expectations and emotions of our customers, and privacy sensitive information. Also, you can work well together and you have digital skills.
You have at least a MBO+ working and thinking level and you have experience in case-oriented work, preferably experience with the Employee Portal and in working with a Knowledge Base. Experience as a telephonist is a plus.

The municipality of Borger-Odoorn, with over 25,000 inhabitants and about 200 employees, is a rural municipality with lots of public space, forests and nature and a high level of ambition. Responsibilities lie low in our organization. We cooperate regionally with the municipalities of Emmen and Coevorden and are the first municipality in Drenthe with the international
